188. Tracking of Part/Job BOM Trace
Items that are produced by assembling of parts or by directly manufacturing using raw materials are tagged as “Manufactured” products in SPS.
For each finished / manufactured product, BOM components can be defined.
Users can configure any non-serialized item or Service as a BOM.
BOM can be set up in an individual mode or in a batch migration mode.
A report with all the BOM configured can be generated.
The BOM tab is shown in the Sales Order that shows the estimated BOM that will be consumed in the fulfillment of this order.
The BOM tab is shown on the invoice that shows the BOM consumption based on the invoiced quantity.
A report is generated that shows the invoices as of a date which have BOM consumed, so that the BOM item’s inventory can be adjusted. This can be done on a daily / weekly / monthly basis as needed.
Forecast report for BOM items is generated based on the historical sales quantity of finished goods in the selected date range.
